Availability and timings

The Village Hall comprises a large open hall space, a smaller committee room and kitchen and toilet facilities. The committee room can be booked separately for smaller groups or events. Access to kitchen and toilet facilities is included for all bookings.

Bookings can be made on an hourly basis or on a block basis (e.g. morning/afternoon/evening or a combination of blocks).

Community Pricing Policy

As a registered charity, the Village Hall operates within strict guidelines in furtherance of its activities in the community. We operate a two-fee system, for residents and non-residents. Residents of Thornton Le Dale Parish are eligible for discounted rates. Proof of residency may be requested if you are not known to the bookings officer.

Commercial or Corporate Bookings

For commercial or corporate bookings special terms may apply, at the discretion of the Management Committee. Please contact the bookings officer to discuss your requirements.

Payment Terms

For one off bookings, a 50% deposit is payable at the time of booking and is non-refundable. The balance must be paid no later than seven days before the event takes place. Fees for regular bookings must be paid by remittance date on invoice.
